It all started wheN the pandemic hit and We didn’t know what the next couple of years would look like for our business. We are the third owners of the building, having owned it since 2005. We had always thought it would be great to do something amazing with the second floor once downtown chippewa felt like it was a destination. IT had been a storage space and was in rough condition. We created a brand new floor plan and added plumbing+ELECTRIC+ HEAT/AIR! We researched the original owners and found that they had lived Upstairs in 1893. When their son became a doctor, he had his office upstairs as well. There was even a business college upstairs at one point.
We took a sledgehammer to the main wall in November 2020, which became the opening to the kitchen. We realized quickly how much time and craftsmanship had been put into this building and we have done our best to respect the work that was done. We know you will enjoy any time you spend at our apartment. As soon as you step into the space you will feel the great vibe! We are so happy to share it with you.
